The apple day worked which is good and glad my weight has "corrected|" back to within 2 lbs. On a different note I am feeling under the weather today. Got a really soar throat and my job entails that I talk to the public and solve problems all day long and it really hurts to talk! I think I will stay home and rest today and hopefully it feels better tomorrow.

Feel better! I was sick last week, too!

Ugh it's aweful isn't it!? My head ears and throat hurt badly and I have spent most of the day sleeping and laying around. Ate breakfast and snacks so far and pre-entered my chicken salad I made for lunch - not sure when exactly I will eat it as I don't even have the energy yet. We'll see if I even eat dinner this evening!

I have to come off the diet. I got light headed at rehearsal last night and thought, "OK, that's it." Im going to do an apple day and finish up my injections and then do something else. Yes, yes, yes, I will do the three low carb weeks. :) It was a great jump start, though. It is so funny to me that I am getting cranky about not being able to exercise and eat broccoli! That's GOT to be an improvement! LOL! I will keep posting, though. :)

Well you still lost weight and you tried.....one never knows what will happen unless you try right? You have to focus on what is he right thing for you and go with how you feel! I am happy that you are making the right choice for you as that is what matters the most! Also glad to hear from you still and please do keep posting!!! The low carb maintenance phase is actually pretty easy after you start. I know I panicked when I started but then it got better. I actually do not miss carbs and sugar all that much seeings I can eat all the meats, fruits and veggies and fats that I like in this phase. Don't get me wrong, I will eat carbs again like potatoes, corn peas and small amounts of bread, rice and pasta ( mmm peanut butter toast ;) ), but I think in the future I am going to make an extra effort to simply try to avoid sugar. I think refined and added hidden sugars are the culprit with me. After experimenting with stevia flavours I really think you can still have sweet without the consequences. When these next 9 days are over for this phase, I will introduce carbs back slowly and at the same time start exercising slowly again. Going back to jogging and then Zumba this summer. I was way more active before I started this diet, but never lost a thing. Now that I have a jump start as I lost 30lbs, I feel that I can take it on my own with exercise and diet and hopefully set another weight loss goal and achieve it!

You both are amazing! I'm so glad to have gotten to do this program with you both. Don't worry, we're all winners in the losing category!
