BOOM! 233.4 Down over 3 lbs in a day. I am digging it! I knew I could bust it out.

Good day today. Lots of work to do, get back into the swing of things.

Yesterday for lunch I had the Salad bar. Generally I know this is going to incite some rather good weight loss, and it did. I generally steer away from it because of how hungry it makes me later in the day. That could be an association I have from when I was 250 lbs +. I knew I had chicken at home, and that I planned to walk. It all worked out. Yes I did get more hungry than usual, but after I walked it subsided, and I had my chicken and it was OK.

Yesterday I started 2 new classes. Did a majority of the work for one of them no problem. It is basic computers (A+) an insult to my intelligence. It is a requirement for my degree, with no way to CLEP, nor challenge the course effectively. It is essentially cheaper and faster to just take the class. So that is what I am doing. Meh, I will learn the proper terms for USB cables.

Have not heard from the wife in a few days. I am sure she is enjoying the time with her mom. It really brings to mind how disruptive the time difference is when your direct family (Wife,Child) is over there. They call when they are up and at-em at noon, and its 8PM here and I am winding down for bed. The energy levels just dont sync up. We have been emailing overnight usually. 20 more days and she is home!

JP, I experience the same if I hit the salad bar. If I don't put in tuna or chicken or something else loaded with protein, I will be hungry within the next hour.

Thanks Y'all. Yes, the salad bar can be a real problem. Sadly, I take it out on the wife if dinner is not appropriate. Now that I am walking again, whatever hunger I have when I get home is erased by the workout, at least for a bit. And yeah, my co-workers put on country music sometimes, and it sucks. lol
