That is so scary, I fainted at work but when I did it was due to the tanning bed! It's the worst feeling in the world and you have no control. Hope everything is ok!

I go to the doctor even if this is the only time it's happened. They're the only one's who can guess the cause. It would be horrible if the next time it happened you were driving.

I agree with Diddoh. I think a trip to the doctor is def in order. Better safe than sorry. I'm glad you are alright but even if its low blood sugar the doc can get u regulated on an eating schedule. Def get it checked out!!

Wow Sarah, that IS scary. I would go to the doctor too. When I first started losing, I lost about 15 lbs a month for the first 4 or 5 months, but I was a lot heavier than you. My OB told me (after I'd already lost 100 lbs.) that a sensible rate of loss is about A sensible rate of weight loss is around 1 to 2lbs a week. I've also heard that a safe and healthy rate of weight loss is about 1% of your weight a week. But DEFINITELY go to the doctor.

It is scary! I had one episode following sugery of such low blood pressue that I passed out. But even as a healthy person I felt close a few times. Those were when I wasn't eating enough, and working out alot.
A carnation drink and salad don't sound like enough food to me! Eat more! Being in 'starvation' mode can lead to heart problems.

Yikes! I hope the doctor was able to tell you something useful. Fainting is awful.
