Stress as a weight loss strategy... Not my cup of tea.

I am on pace to work 80 hours this week. It has been exhausting. I am not sure if my loss this week is just from needing my hands to type (and thus no time for eating) or if it is because my stategy of eating carrots as my stress food is actually paying off. You can only eat so many carrots before your feel miserably full and it takes a while for the body to process.

I can't wait to get back to a normal routine of 50 hours a week. I can't sustain this 12-14 hours a day stuff. I want to be able to work out while I still have energy. I want to get some things done around the house. June 30th cannot come fast enough!

I need to ensure that I am taking care of myself through this. It is so easy to fall back into old habits/routines just because I am tired. I need to continue to food prep every weekend for successful lunch management.

Enough whining. Need to get to work.

A state-mandated reporting deadline specific to my industry. The first deadline is actually next week, and then I have another 30 days to report the second half.

Super job! It is really, really hard to stay on track with a 80 hr/wk schedule (I speak from experience). Do you have another stress food? You could burn out on carrots?

I hope you're making a ton of money for that! Great job sticking to a diet through all of it!
