Meh, 237.6 today. I thought it was good, but it was just OK. Up .6 since yesterday.

Probably the junky dinner before my final lab exam. No biggie. Today will be a better day, I will get out and do some walking today. I had planned on a salad, but by the time we ate I was too hungry to make a wise choice.

Just had my cereal, and a lot of my work is done. Today is my Friday. Hopefully I can work on a few things I need to finish, and not have to be reactive all day in quadrant 1.

Lately after lunch, even if I have a healthy wrap and a salad, I come back to my office craving a dessert! I mean really craving it. It has happened all week. I have some fiber bars I enjoy and those fit the bill at around 150 cals. The problem seems to be my dependance on them. Fortunately, they are almost gone, and I will not restock. :-P

Also got invited to a brunch tomorrow. One of our friends is leaving Bahrain and going back to the USA. So we will cheat tomorrow in grand scale at a champagne brunch! I expect no less that 4000 calories in vodka and juices alone. Plus they have some pretty good food.

I have a goal of 230 lbs by the end of march, maybe because I have that I am being lackadaisical. Anyway, I better straighten out and fly right soon.

JP - I get CRAZY dessert cravings, and I definitely see the link to snack bars and other things. If I have those through the day, I keep wanting more of it. If I have even the GOOD kind of bars, I can't stop thinking of chocolates. It sucks! Try to take a few days without those between-meals snacks, maybe that'll change your focus? It sure did for me. When you feel like them, dig a little deeper in your mind and ask yourself if you want them out of habit, or if you REALLY feel that your body needs more fuel. I'm pretty sure you know what the answer is. :) I hope you get this fixed, it's a royal pain to have cravings for things that you know you shouldn't eat. Also, remember that a glass of ICE COLD water can take hungers away. I use this when I get munchy throughout the day. I try to NOT get too hungry before my meals (I make bad choices when I'm hungry too!), and water actually helps. So does staying busy, occupying your mind with other things. I hope you find solutions to these things. It makes it all so much easier. :)

Enjoy the going home party...I won't even rub it in when I go under 230lbs...nope, I'll be a bigger man than that...hehehe In reality, you have to live...enjoy your cheat day & straighten out the next day... Later.

Good point King. These snack bars are way too good. I even doubt they are only 140 cals. But yes, something is going on there, and I need to chill. My protein bar supplements are so nasty I dont crave them, they are there for days when my protein is way off. I will save them more for when I am exercising more. Madjak, your profile pic with a bowl on your head cracks me up, make yourself some brownies!

It's a clear cover from a Dairy Queen icecream cake, thank you!! I do the cooking, wifey does the know, women's work...hehehe...remember to have a few for me, I get thirsty when I'm WORKING OUT!!

4000 calories in just vodka and juice?!? I hope you are joking!!! I think that's a little too 'cheat-y', even for a cheat day! You better watch out, Madjak is going to fly past you if you aren't careful... give him a run for his money!!! I want to see you 2 race to goal weights...
