236.8 - A new low for me!

Yesterday evening we had some people over, and I had a few beers and snacks, but it was ALMOST within RDI. I snacked a bit on pretzels and brie. It was a good night. Nice change of pace.

Work has been crazy! Lots of installs and changes. We have visiting teams from the states, lots of disruptions, politics going crazy, and added stresses and drama. I just keep my head down, and do my work, once in a while turning around to "stir the pot". Hehe. Usually the visitors means I am drinking/entertaining on the weekend. Not anymore though, my weight loss journey has superceded finding any excuse to go out. Sometimes I even feel bad. We have 3 guys here who have never been here before, and I am not able to go have a few pints with them and share my experiences. They are big boys, they will be fine.

Lets get back to the journey at hand. Yesterday I did NOT have mongolian BBQ for lunch, I had a big fatty pizza, lol. I have been craving them for weeks, so I had one. Plus for the aformentioned reasons, the food places were busy as we went to lunch late. I had my calories planned out pretty good, then wifey wanted to drink and have friends over. Since it was unplanned, I was not that into it, so thats good.

Today and this weekend, I have a lot on my plate. Lots of biology work to complete by Monday. A 5 page paper, lots of homework, my quiz corrections, etc. I want to get this going early and not procrastinate. I have a physio appt too, at noon on Saturday.

I actually am feeling motivated to do some walking on my own. Maybe like 10-20 minutes. The lady at physio said I could, and if I have swelling to ice and elevate (RICE!). We'll see how the weekend goes. I wanted to do that this AM, but wife is busy, and we are a bit out of sync. I reckon I should vocalize my plans better.

Anyway, I am rambling.
