Hi Becca! Seed starting already???...yes its getting to be that time...I may wait a month...need to finish some unfinished business...Number #1 priority is getting back on the site and logging and getting serious about shedding a few pounds! Have a great week!

Hubby is the gardener in our family and he hasn't started the seeds yet, but it won't be long.

Starting seeds is way better than messing around with a computer! Yay!

What are you starting first? I have already done Brussels Sprouts and celery seeds. Next I'll do broccoli and cauliflower.

Awesome! I do agree that seeds are way more fun than being at the computer. :)

I just don't have the energy or motivation to start plants.

I start with herbs like Rosemary, Thyme, Parsley. We had a freeze every month last summer so I am feeling blah towards tomatoes, peppers etc....I never get to harvest them and that's pretty discouraging. Someday I'll have a greenhouse and give them another try. I'll start the cruciferous bunch next...cauliflower, broccoli, kohlrabi, kale. They do well here if I can deter the deer...they like healthy vegis also!!

My greenhouse at work is full of tiny sprouts of early kohl veggies: cabbages, broccoli, kale, collards, etc. Peppers next, then tomatoes and eggplant. I'm starting a lot of cutting flowers this year, inspired by my daughter's Labor Day wedding. My many gardens are going to be florabundant.

Erika, how many kids do you have in your program? I will have a lot of flowers as well, I hope. The deer have taken to actually sleeping in my rock gardens...grrr. Hope to see some photos of your florabundance! :)
