This is why I hate my scale!
I got on this morning and it said 130 flat. My last weigh in was 129.6 and I was almost positive that all the hard work I've put in since then should have paid off at least by a half pound or something. But going UP a half pound and getting back in the 130s was so disappointing! My scale just makes me depressed...why does it matter what is says if I feel so much better?!

SIGH...so I just decided to get on with my day and while I was brushing my teeth I realized, "OMG I have this gigantic towel on my head!" Threw the towel off and got back on the scale and woo hoo 127.8! I haven't seen that number in over a year. Ahh it was a good day.

Gotta love it when hard work pays off :D

That's funny! I hate mine too. Yesterday it said I went up half a pound when I should have lost over half. But Then it said my percentage of fat was 1% lower. So I'm hoping it's muscle since I'm working out now or at least water.

Google "why the scale lies" for insight in to water weight. It's always better to weigh first thing in the morning, after waking up, after going to bathroom in same clothes, same time to get the most accurate reading to gauge your weight loss. After a shower you can weigh more because of wet hair. So many things factor in to weight. Most daily ups and downs are water weight unless you have overeaten. You can step on the scale all day and be a different weight. You can also stay the same weight and go down in sizes (because of fat loss). Stay consistent with you diet and workout and and you will be fine.
