No the FF diet will help you get rid of this yeast. NO sugar and I find NO dairy for me. My yeast problems create itchy skin especially my scalp. I also took OIL OF OREGENOL for two weeks and it did wonders... tastes just like oregeno but has great healing powers. If you buy it get the smallest bottle possible as you only need one tiny drop twice a day.

Things that can cause yeast overgrowth include any sugars (fruit sugars included), fermented foods (vinegar, soy sauce, etc), mushrooms, and any that can harbor molds (primarily nuts). Environmental mold can also contribute to yeast overgrowth because you breath it in. You can also take probiotics like acidophilous to help populate healthy bacteria in your intestinal tract. Avoid any of the above mentioned foods and take the probiotics. It can take up to 4 - 6 weeks to get this under control. I too, think that I may be having yeast issues...was reading my Atkins book and have many of the symptoms that he lists. What is this test you mentioned and can you post or email specifics?

Fruit has sugars that feed yeast too! So you have to stop those for awhile, and increase other things to make up the calories. I will post the test- ALG commented on her forum that the test was worth a try- but she didn't precisely endorse- althought there are many anecdotal tales on the forum of this being accurate- i will post a topic and past in the test
