I am just glad to be alive, Phil. Some people will stop, and let a poor guy push his car in front of you, and some fly on by. Funny, I was talking to the tow driver and he wants to get a truck to deliver dealer cars.

One time my car broke down at the intersection of South First and Loop 287 in Lufkin. That's no 5 Freeway, but for our town, particularly at lunch hour, it's pretty busy. The manager of the McDonald's down on First and Timberland stopped and helped me push my car out of the road. Come to find out I was out of gas, but my gas gauge was malfunctioning, ended up costing me almost $500 because the fuel pump was in the gas tank and they had to take the gas tank off the car. Have I ever expressed my disdain for mechanics? I has it.

Very lucky for me, the Civic is a small car. I am amazed how good it is on gas. I almost filled the tank with $20. Now I have to fill a new tank. I can't win. lol I now have a gray Civic instead of black.

Phil, how do rats eat a gas tank, and why is the excess valve on it not replaceable? Yep, car repairs are ridiculously expensive. You know there price of labor is $125 an hour? Dang!
