So good Phil though you're making me think ... you're about 6'3" right? So 85kg is only about 26lb more than I and I'm 5'6". I need to work harder and cheer you on more x

Christmas comes but once a year. God bless us every one! But if I know you, your "splurge" will be in moderation.

Thank you, all! Not sure what I'll splurge on, probably everything, but especially pecan pie, that's my Kryptonite. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Wonderful New Year's to everyone.

Phil, are you kidding me? You went from 400 lbs to 190? WOW, you should be on the cover of something, Weight Watchers Magazine, or Men's Health, or something! OR HELL, write your own book - hell, this is a success story of the Nth degree - really. There isn't anyone who can't say they are not impressed. Do you write blogs or anything?

Great loss there, Phil! That's kind of the way I have been looking at my diet, lose to enjoy food later. Just keep an eye on it, so you don't lose track.

Thanks for the recipe, Ron, and DL, I'm always looking for new ways to eat pecan pie! lol Skydiverjim, I got your email, and replied back, basically told you that I got so much negativity from some people on this site that I'm not really interested in sharing my story anymore, you would think everyone would appreciate what I've done, but you would be sadly mistaken, some people are so eat up with jealousy or so determined to push their own way of eating that they don't care what I've accomplished and would rather I just keep it to myself. That's actually been said to me, if you can believe it. I had a years worth of journals on another account, but because of the petty detractors I set that account to private and then had Fat Secret disable it. Thanks for the wisdom, my brother Warren, Merry Christmas, everyone, and Festivus is today, too!

I don't follow Phil's "recipe for success" because of some medical conditions I have, but he will always be my hero and inspiration! I think everyone has to find what works for them and I was able to "pick and choose" from Phil's routine to find what works for me. And following his successes helped me stick with my WOE (for the most part.) Some just seemed to feel their way was the only way, in spite of the obvious success Phil was experiencing.
