Sherillynn's Journal, 17 December 2016

The snow storm has finally stopped. It looks like we did get about 6-8 inches. If the wind chill weren't so bad, I'd take the puppy out to play for a while and burn some calories. I need to do some pre-holiday baking and this might mean a trip to the grocery store if our road has been plowed out.

I am doing well on the protein shakes and no hunger pangs at all. However, the lack of humidity has my skin dry and itchy and that could be what throws me over the edge!

Hi 😀 Winter is AWFUL on my skin too. I usually make a tub og sugar scru for the shower. Keep me moisturized for a day or two. fill your container with sugar about 3/4 full then mix in olive or coconut oil til the sugar is all moistened with about an inch extra floating on top. head to toe 😀 I even use it on my face!

I use an olive oil mixed with coconut oil on my skin too and it really helps.

I keep a jar of cacao butter on the radiator in the bathroom and rub down with it after a shower - very luxurious! It's melted and warm and smells like chocolate.
