Let them laugh! Connecting with strangers who become our friends is what life is about, and the kind of support that so many of us are lacking. You've become a bright light in my world, Warren, so thank YOU! 

Kes, you have been a wonderful friend here, and I really thank you!  

Prostate surgery--the new weight loss craze! You're a good sport, Warren, and we all laugh at you here too! 😉 Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!! We are blessed to have your buoyant spirits, excellent humor, enduring support, and true friendship here. 

Well Kp, I don't have to tell you what I think about you. You know that. LOL But you will always be my sweetheart here. I wish you the BEST in your life. I have Forrest Gump tears too. 

Life is like that box of chocolates too! You never know what you are going to get! 

Amen....We don't know what lies in our future...only who holds it! Enjoy your holiday. 

Thanks Gwen, I love your name, because of a special lady I knew with your name. We were such close friends, but we went our ways one day.  

Have a Happy Thanksgiving Warren. My parents were married on thanksgiving Day, so it is extra special for my Dad. We chose to have a quiet "old folks" lunch with my mother-in-law and Dad. I am cooking a bit and then spending time later with my grown children and grand kids. Of course football will be in the mix and flipping channels or put the tv on in the kids playroom to watch the DISNEY Holiday Special. Have a safe trip to Oahu and don't get too wacky in Waikiki!!! 

I hear you, lulani. Waikiki I really LOVE. I'm really getting psyched up. Your memorial to your mom is kind of challenge to me. I like challenges, but not sure I can pull it off. I will go to that beach, though. Hawaii is a home away from home. We have a timeshare at the Waikiki Banyan next to the Park and Zoo. I would love to give my tortoise to that Zoo. I have all these pictures of Hawaii in my head. Have a special Thanksgiving with family. Sounds so nice. Have a great one! 

Warren dear, a simple kind thought or prayer to my mother as you gaze out onto that beautiful ocean would be a beautiful gift to my mother. She spent many years on those park benches gazing into the sunset as she watched her family grow. My children were all born on Oahu and Waikiki will always be a special place to our family. The beach was my kids playground. I love the Honolulu zoo...many good times for us there! It used to be a buck$ to get in!!!!! Annual pass was like 20$ for a family....gone are those days!!!!! 

I get eye rolls and chuckles, too, Warren, but we can't argue with success. Happy Thanksgiving Warren. 

Thanks Philly Sue! I was concerned about getting my pants on, and I am SO glad I no longer have those issues. It is nice to feel more active and have less stress on my knees Congrats to you too.  

Lulani, that beach will have added significance to me, now. That is such a wonderful beach town. I LOVE it there. We always like the coast journey to the North Shore. I am going to try a post a wonderful surfing video for you.

Thanks Rhontique, I have enjoyed your friendship on here too. It is amazing how staying focused on a long term goal works wonders. I will be thinking of you. I will post a pic of me with a lei like yours. 

I tried to download a link to the video, but it failed, but an amazing piece of surfing footage worth the copy and paste. 

Happy Thanksgiving! Will need to check out the Honolulu Zoo, now. We are staying in Waianae on our vacay. Have Pearl Harbor, the Aiea Market, and Polynesian Cultural Center planned so far. Still haven't firmed up our plans for the big island. Have a great trip! 

Thanks Lady and Happy Thanksgiving to your family too. Two great hotels to see on Oahu are the Royal Hawaiian, and Hilton Hawaiian Village. Your itinerary is spot on. If we don't rent a good car at the airport, we rent a wreck at Waikiki. It helps to have a car on the big island, because it is so large. Kona and its water and fishing is the big attraction on the Big Island. Volcanic action is cool there too, and hot. lol Extremely, humid there. Good luck, planning is SO much fun.  

Awww, thanks, Warren! I'm at the hand car wash getting my girl all dolled up for the holiday tomorrow. I'm going to see family I haven't seen in 7 years. I'm not sure that's a good idea, but I guess I'll find out. I don't know when you and Diane are leaving for Hawaii, but I hope you both have the best time!
