I did eat at KFC - just chicken - but cheated and ate too much sour cream at other meals - but managed to lose weight anyway... I know I need to keep my carb count low as right now I can't exercise as I have some arthritis flaring up especially in my right foot. I'm so happy I'm losing weightand about seven or eight years ago I weighed just under 260, and did lose about thirty or forty pounds on Atkins and want to get to the 180s or so - everyone will have to get used to me being thin again - I was skinny when I was young!
216.6 lb Lost so far: 6.4 lb.    Still to go: 21.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Cutting carbs will also help your arthritis because sugar/carbs cause an inflammatory response in your body. You might find you need less pain medication for it when you cut carbs out completely. Watch out for trans fats in fast food--not sure if KFC has cut them out yet. Good job on the loss!

I mean when you cut out "bad carbs" completely, like refined flours and sugar. Keep in the good ones in veggies and low glycemic foods.
