Hi Buffy - I understand your feelings. also experienced that we can get used to almost anything. Instead of cutting out the sweetener completely, why don't you go with a hint of it. If I am out and have to buy coffee at DD or so they always look kind of strange at me when I tell them to ad 1/2 Splenda to the medium coffee *haha*. That is almost too much for me. I just gave my use of sugar and sweetener a thought. I can't remember when I bought the last sugar, I guess sometimes last year since I use it only when I bake or cook something for others. Artificial sweetener, both packages, the packed Splenda and the granulated are sitting in the pantry for at least a year as well. You can do it, I just don't know if it is right to go the hard way or better to reduce it slowly but surely.
