I'm pretty disappointed I don't have a loss to post. I am shooting to post one tomorrow or the next day! We have lots of healthy eating going on in our house and the exercise is full speed ahead right now. If I don't see a loss soon, I may have to record Points for a while to see if I am taking in calories I don't realize. I really prefer to eat consciously instead, but I also really want to drop 5 lbs.

I have been kicking butt with the workouts though and am back in full training mode! I swam 1/2 mile last night- on Sat. I ran 3 miles then biked 7, and the other days have been weights and more running and biking 4 days a week. So I know I am doing what I can physically right now.

I have tried a few new things you may want to hear about:
-Moving Comfort Fiona sports bra- found on roadrunnersports.com- excellent fit and performance!

-I bought new running shoes that I still have to run in longer to see if they are good as well- also on roadrunnersports.com. They are the Nike Voom Vomero Max +4. I need a lot of cushioning with my higher arches. They are so comfortable, like walking on clouds. I love them. However, my feet hurt a little so I need to make sure I can break them in and my feet won't hurt anymore. I really hope I can keep them. It's so hard to find a running shoe that is just right!

-I made a yummy soup that was really easy- Navy Bean
-Sautee a minced onion with 1 Tbsp butter, add a little flour. Add in broth (I made my own vegetable broth), about 1-2 cups more water, about 1/2 packet dry vegetable soup mix, and a can of navy beans or great Northern beans, undrained. I also had a piece of cooked bacon I crumbled in it which added a lot of flavor. I just threw these things in together and wasn't sure it would turn out good, but it was great!

For homemade vegetable broth: Throw in any and all kinds of vegetables into a pot of water. I used all the tops of celery sticks I was going to throw away and whatever else you want, and added some oregeno and basil seasonings and minced onion. Boil then simmer until the veggies are mushy. Drain out the water from the veggies and that is your vegetable stock without all the sodium!

Have a healthy day everyone! PS- I am ready for the sun! It has been so gloomy here day after day for weeks. Anyone else??

Let's see...good exercise regime + eating healthy but no loss in weight (according to the numbers)= dissapointment. Or...good exercise regime + eating healthy but no loss in weight (according to the numbers) = Overall great health! Yay! Don't worry about the numbers buddy. Keep doing what you're doing and the numbers will catch up later. Great job!
