Well, I am back from my vacation in Florida and am really disappointed in the scale this morning. I was very good about staying on plan and although I did probably overindulge in low carb ice cream...I stayed at or below 25 net carbs and I never got out of ketosis. I have heard others say that they tend to retain water after flying, so I am really hoping that is the case here. I do know that even though I ate right and did a lot of walking and swimming, I also didn't drink as much water as I usually do. Sure hoping that being back in my normal routine will show a drop back down in the next couple of days.

It might just be from too much sodium. Travelling can also cause us to retain water. Drink that water and it will be gone in a few days.

amazing techniques I was told about by a PT. called lymphatic drainage. Lots of info on it available. Found good Youtube videos by Massage by Heather who says she is a licensed massage therapist. Offers good direction. I have found it is unbelievably easy and it really clears out excess water weight in my body. There are some contraindications and she notes them so consider that first. Specific breathing, upper body, torso and leg videos are on Youtube. If you don't like her videos lots of others. is a reliable technique that can be self-done. Sorry if sounds like an advertisement, but I really like it.

Water can def make you hold water. Have you tried intermittent fasting? I throw that in the mix when I start getting undesirable results. Some info from a RD on it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2v7rQ1oNDrI
