Yes, home safely, and we have maybe a half dozen fires going on at one time. Too hot here. One fire is not very far from here, but we are not in danger. But many close (8 to 10 miles) are being evacuated.

Every year the fire situation gets worse. There is not enough moisture, and water here.

The fires and heat are awful here too it was 115 yesterday and 112 today. We don't have any fires really close but I remember well when Mt Lemon burned, it's about 30 minutes up the mountain from Tucson. The ash fell on your car and with asthma I had to stay inside as much as possible but you could still smell the smoke.

I saw 4 died of heat in Arizona yesterday! A real serious problem, that only gets worse is children dying in locked cars. It is getting so bad, that they are thinking of putting warning systems in cars. Alerts you to check the back seat.

Not a whole lot of brush left here either. Our Santa Barbara fire really has done huge damage to that area, that destroyed a very large area, that had lasted for 60 years without a huge, damaging fire.
