Did pretty well this week all things considered. Went to a party Friday and binged. Had some Krispy Kreme doughnuts too, probably a bad idea considering I was going to drink "heavily" that night. Wife arranged for kids to be "out" (they are teenagers). Had a decent night, except for a sour stomach from a poorly made margarita (pure lime juice). I am not sure about incorporating the cheat day, but I think between the upset stomach from too many sweets and cocktails, I will learn my lesson. It was my 1st cheat/spike day so I went overboard a bit. :-) Still unable to walk since my foot is jacked up (achilles and ankle). Tripped and fell on a rock in a vacant lot here, knew it was going to happen eventually (actually it already did, lol).
254.6 lb Lost so far: 14.4 lb.    Still to go: 69.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I am Kingkeld, I did read your Blog, and that was my inspiration. It matches a few other books/diets I have looked at. And it eliminates that craziness where you want to give up. This week I went overboard and made myself sick eating unhealthy foods (and drinking).

Awesome! I'm glad I could inspire! I myself - as you know - went nuts this weekend and suffered badly. I think the point to these exercises is that we learn from them. :) I know I won't go binging like that for a while!

Shame about the spike day not being as enjoyable as it coulda been. I do feel it makes sense to 'spike' and am going to push through the guilty feelings (thank you for your comments on my journal) otherwise I know I am not gonna stick to this as I would miss alcohol and steak pies too much :-). Sorry to read ref your foot, does that mean a delay on your marathon training? :-D
