I have been away for awhile...and haven't been doing very well...I have to admit defeat- I don't know why I stopped..I have no excuses. I am being totally realistic- that I just stopped working out, logging my food, watching what I eat and stopped journaling. I have been at this weightloss battle for many years and I know what works for me...which is all the above.

I am going to refrain from "Today is a new day", "I am staring over today!" and any other phrase that is assocaited with dieting...I'm simply just going to have to get my ass back in gear, tighten my belt and stop being so damn lazy.

Today, I am starting "The Love Dare Day by Day" - I am seeking motivation, determination, faith - all within myself. I think book is very powerful for those who have strong devotion and determination - which is me.

279.0 lb Lost so far: 26.0 lb.    Still to go: 104.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

Glad to see you back! I found renewed motivation in my Bodymedia Fit armband... sounds silly, but knowing how many calories I burn really helps me consciously recognize that I'm choosing to lose weight or I'm choosing to gain wait. It's all in my control!

not defeat.. just a minor setback. you know what to do, it's just a matter of doing it. you have all the tools and you can get yourself back on track with them in no time. :)
