We were gone for 10 days to visit our son and his wife. We ate a lot of junk and salty snacks on the trip. We came back on the 17th of Nov and I had gained 2.4 lbs. I have lost all but .6 of a lb in 3 days so I am pretty sure a lot of it was water. Now to get back in my routine.

I would love to lose 10 more lbs. I have been at a standstill for a couple of months. May need to increase exercise. I enjoyed the visit. I live in Texas and they live in Virginia Beach so we don't get to see them real often.

I am sureif you increase your exercise a bit, you will manage to get over the plateau.... Either that or change you calories intake. Some FS people have had real success with this, they increase calories for one day and decrease for two days, then increase for a day etc. Over the week it averages out at their RDI - but fools their bodies into letting go of the weight. When I look at my diet calendar, I do this without planning it - I keep thinking I will consciously do it - but at the moment I am still loosing (it's slowed a bit, but that's normal as I near my goal) so I will leave things as they are.
