It's been really hard to cut carbs out completely; but I've been trying REALLY hard to keep it low these last few days. I haven't been getting much sleep though. My insomnia seems to have gotten worse. Last night, I finally got to sleep; but the night before, I went to sleep at 11-something and woke up at 12-something; and couldn't go back to sleep until 6a.m.! Then I woke up at 7 a.m. I was a zombie all day yesterday. :( Plus, I think this lack of sleep is making my waistline wider. I'm not eating as much (trying to cut calories), so I can only blame it on the lack of sleep. Have not had the energy to workout.
129.0 lb Lost so far: 2.0 lb.    Still to go: 11.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Me either and I started to cut out carbs also, what are you cutting it down to? when did you start if you dont mind me asking?

Emerald17 I have insomnia also. I take Zolpidem, generic for Ambien about midnight every night to try and get sleep. But there are also natural things to take for sleep. Valerian Root capsules are the natural version of Valium. They are stinky when you open the bottle but help with sleep. You can get it in extract too, if you don't like swallowing pills. If you have an herb shop where you live, they might can help you get natural sleep.

Can you share that how may carbs do u eat ? what is your fat and protein intake ? (in grams) what is your height and current body weight and BMI ..currently at average i am taking 16 g carbs / day and no side effect but yeah taking one Surbex Z and lutevit plus multivitamin before and after hour of lunch

Hi there. Sorry, I didn't realize you guys had posted until today. IRISHMAMA1215, I started in November last year, but stopped, when I ran out of KETO OS samples. I started back up again in April...? I think. But stopped working out for about a month or so when things got busy, and everyone got sick. I cut it down to 20 net grams ( at least, I TRY to, but sometimes fail) during the week, and allow myself more on the weekends. However, I have been "over-doing" it on the weekends. :( And the last two weeks, I haven't been following the KETO guidelines. My fault. I just got tired from everything, and also discouraged. JOSHUA RAEL: I didn't know Valerian Root helped with sleep. When you take the Zolpidem so late (at midnight), do you ever feel drowsy or groggy in the morning? I find that even when I take Benadryl at 7p.m., the effects last all day the following day. I might just be really sensitive to medicine though. I'll see if I can find Valerian Root capsules again. I've seen them before, but when I'm NOT looking for them. lol JUAID NAEEM: I've been *trying* to only eat 20 net grams of carbs during the weekdays (and 50-60 net carbs on the weekends). But as mentioned above, I've been failing at this. I just need to be more strict with myself and stay motivated. It's hard when you slide back and lose hope. I have been terrible at logging in my food journal, so I'm not sure what my fat and protein intake is. I just know that I'm trying to keep it higher than carbs. Here lately, it's been difficult since we've been celebrating lots of birthdays, Mother's day, and such. :( I'm 5'2 and weight 132ish. I'm not sure what my BMI is. What is Surbex Z and lutevit? I've never heard of those.
