DairyKing's Journal, 10 November 2011

Well, I couldn't hardly wait to record my weigh-in this morning. 223.5 lbs.! That's 31 lbs. since August 1st! I know it will probably spike a couple of times before it settles in here, but don't rain on my parade right now. :) The amazing thing is that I have not deprived myself of anything I like thus far. It really has been all about moderation in diet and exercise. Anyone that looks at my diet calendar will see that I have had blueberry & pomegranate ice cream, spaghetti and meatballs, BBQ Ribs, and I've eaten at Mickey Dee's, Hardees, Taco Bell and Burger King. Now, I know a haughty spirit goes before a fall, and pride before destruction, so I'm not bragging (well, maybe just a little). There are perfect people on this site that are very diligent and go by the rules; I am not one of them. I am a procrastinator and a glutton; if I can do it, anyone can.

I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges.
223.5 lb Lost so far: 31.0 lb.    Still to go: 33.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

That's funny! You make me feel like dancin! Now I've got this BeeGees tune rolling around in my head. Make it stop! Make it stop! LOL! My wife made spaghetti last night, but made it with whole wheat noodles, tomato noodles and spinach noodles, and get this - I liked it "better" than the regular starchy noodles. This dieting thing is almost getting fun. I said "almost". If a parsley farmer is sued, can they garnish his wages?

LOL... Good for you... You can always be stricter with yourself once you hit a plateau... But for now enjoy :-)
