When it comes to pan handlers, we have a rule in the family: Even swindlers need food. We buy beef jerkey and trail mix (sometimes it differs) and put together little ziploc bags and give them out to anyone who asks. We don't even have the option to give cash because we never carry it! This way, we are modeling kindness and trying not to enable. Once, a homeless man washed my husband's car windows and my husband bought him a burger. It's just our way of handling it.

Thanks everyone! Funny, the guy got enough money from all the suckers to go in and buy his coffee. I kind of wanted to slap the guy, if you know what I mean. Lol

The Lord says we are to help the poor and there is not really a way to know if your being suckered or not, sometimes if you know their story it's really sad. Jobs are hard to come by these days and impossible if you live on the street and don't have an address and if you don't have a job you can't get an address. A lot of those people don't want to be homeless.

Wow, Lia! That is so nice of you. I think it is terrible how bad it has gotten. I'm not rich, but have close friends, that are ridiculously, wealthy. One friend, that gave me a retirement party, has ten of millions. Don't vote for less government. Vote for more taxes. We have such spoiled Americans, like Trump, who pay nothing. One of my friends, has never had a job, because his family trust gives him a few million every couple years. He is my age. Has NEVER had a job.

Also our banks could have foreclosed on Trump so many times. They would foreclose on us, you can believe. Buying real estate is NO businessman. He is a complete SHAM!

Sad Moore died at 66! His drinking led to the same thing as my wife's brother, brain cancer. Moral of the story, don't be a drunk, and don't do drugs.

We hope my brother in law can live a few more years, but he has other cancer too. He is very depressed about it. You have to respect your own health, or who else is going to.
