124 yesterday and 125 today. I know that I have hardly eaten since getting home so not sure how much of this loss will stick. I have to now focus on muscle tone-especially for the abdomen and arms. Anyone know if muscle tone will help with the crepe like skin that has appeared on my upper arms?

Feeling much better. Am taking antibiotics and steroid-the cure is worse than the disease. Major stomach upset. However, the pain and swelling in throat and neck have subsided, so feel good about that. Back to work tomorrow and dreading it!

Paris was fantastique! So much packed into a short amount of time-Shopping, the Louvre, the Rodin Museum, the Marais (Picasso Museum was closed),Notre Dame, Eiffel TOwer, Champs Elysee, Arc de Triomphe, walked miles along the Seine, Caberet in an ancient prison/cave. I almost danced on a table but opted instead to preform a duet with a beautiful transvestite. We sang Bohemian Rhapsody. Speaking of Queen-we also went to a disco called Queen for '80's night. We did the Hotel Coste twice and went to numerous bistros-including Cafe Flore. Speaking of food/drink, highlights included bread, bread, bread, croissant, Berthillon ice cream, the best falafel in the world, champagne, champagne, champagne. Oh, the joys of champagne. Other activities included flirting and lots of it! The passport man at the airport was flirting with me-everyone flirts in France, it's a flirters paradise:) I did not get sick until the last day and was in denial until I got to the airport the next day. Still, I kept going until the flight from JFK to LAX. That was a nightmare but I survived.

I still have not unpacked!

The tail end of the vacation sounded a bit dicey but you made it home in one piece!!! Sounds like you had a marvelous time ... and I too am simply astounded that you came back weighing less than when you left!! I've never done that on any vacation!!! Even when I have been ill. I hope the illness departs quickly and work isn't nearly as ominous as it feels right now. Glad to have you back home ... you skinny thing you!!

Next time I go back to France, I take you with me. I need you to show me how to lose weight there!! Reading your journal made me very nostalgic... I'm glad you're feeling better, travelling while being sick is a nightmare, especially for such a long trip.

Walking, dancing! I was active 18 hrs a day. The bread took a toll though-my intestines were in shock. Not happy campers and they let me know it. I've been horizontal since Thursday so worried if this low will last. It's very strange to be this weight. I am a stranger in a strange land.
