Still fluctuating a bit but down a pound today so not too bad. Been having issues with my wisdom teeth so eating kinda hurts... The dentist knows what teeth need worked on but want to wait a month to do a hygiene appt to see if I know how to brush my teeth, then who knows how much longer to work on my problems :( GRRR I think it is a stupid excuse to get more money honestly. I am hoping that I can get them to work on at least my wisdom teeth first then I don't care about the wait as much.

I'm a dentist hater. When I go in there the first thing I let them know is I have no insurance and I'm poor. Really poor. I'm in pain, do the cheapest thing the quickest and get me outta here. I've had a tooth removed instead of a root canal cause the extraction cost 50, the root canal would have cost me 300-500 bucks. I also found a childrens dentist cause I'm a big baby when it comes to anyone poking in my mouth.

I have state insurance and can only see certain dentists here :( I haven't called about my wisdom teeth yet I was waiting for them to be open.

Got an appt for an extraction with a question mark. So basically I have to go in and he MIGHT take them out....

Can't believe your dentist is making you wait - never heard of such a thing!

The appt isn't until the 27th for him to look and see if he will extract them. so 2 more weeks of pain I guess.

You'd think your dentist would be more accomodating since you have insurance and is guaranteed payment...I swear dentists are the most difficult doctors to work with...and they wonder why many of us have "dental office phobia." I wonder if they have to take the Hippocratic Oath to get their licenses.... I am sorry that you are experiencing pain...maybe try rubbing some "teething cream" on your wisdom teeth gums...or better yet, take a strong shot of whiskey :) I am thinking about you.

Thanks Gwen :) I kinda wish I could just get drunk for 2 weeks so I don't feel it lol I do have baby teething gel for my 1 year old... maybe if it gets bad enough I will deal with the nasty taste :)

I would get those suckers out they are more trouble than they are worth, I had no problems at all when I had mine out, after the pain I had with them. But I would probably change dentists.......I finally have a good one, hard to find. But a few whiskeys sounds good, feel better it is so miserable when your teeth hurt.

There are some Dentists out there that only want to pad their pocket book. I had one! I got sweet talked into alot of expensive stuff. I Won't get into it now. But went back for my yearly check and ended up with a to do list for Thousands of dollars on my lower teeth of which I have only 9. Wanted to drill and fill my teeth at the gum line for sensitivity issues. It's not happening, that's for sure, what a crock. Sensodyne works great. :)

I have done a terrible job taking care of my teeth especially with the way I ate for a long time, now I just wish they would fix the issues I have right now so I can focus on keeping them healthy afterward. The only ones that hurt though are my wisdom teeth because they are halfway under my gums and tilted so they will never get fully out of my gums :(

The only thing that helped me was pain medication and alcohol. he he Really, the Tylenol Extra strength did nothing by itself.

But alcohol isn't really Atkins friendly... Although neither is not eating due to pain...
