northernmusician's Journal, 02 February 2016

Back to logging weight daily. Not worried about the jump. It's two days after the fast and I went a little wild last night. My body was craving, so I gave it some of the cold pizza that was left from a couple of days before. (I hadn't had any when it was made.) I probably went 1000 calories over and the carbs loaded me and likely bloated me a bit as well.

Wednesday was to be my half fast day, but that will be Thursday now. New schedule has Wednesday as a lifting day so I'll shuffle it. I have a dentist appointment on Wednesday as well. I'm just hoping he didn't go to the same school Snow's dentist went to. I remember the suffering she went through. Now all I can think is "Thanks for posting all that, Snow!"

The fat is coming off the abs nicely and I don't have to suck my stomach back in for it to be sucked in. I love that. I worked long and hard to get to a point where I'm this healthy. Not into the 32" jeans yet due to a slight roll on the sides, and I'm not sure I'll get into them due to a slightly larger butt from squats.

You look great. Forget about the 32" jeans. Good luck at the dentist tomorrow. After the gym tomorrow I have an appointment to have my eyes examined.

Tina has point there...the cut of clothes makes a huge difference. I'm the same on weight fluctuations, the carbs alone will do it regardless of calories. Hey, we can both have a half-a$$ed Thursday. :)

Right there with you Jmb. You mean... there are different styles of pants?

Hey, Faster, You Faster Guru. Does my 15.5/8.5 half fast count? The short details are listed at what is presently the bottom of my weigh in post. Your opinion and/or advice would be appreciated.

@glen. LOL @Scalewatcher. It's awfully close. That would pretty much be what I'm counting as a half fast, but in order to qualify it would have to be in order to reduce overall calories and not used to cram all your daily allotted calories into one 8.5 hour time span.

After a good carb blow-out...I can jump 3-5lbs easy. Next day straight back on plan...3-4 days later the water is all gone and i'm back to where i started with good memories of the mini binge :-)

That is the kind of info. I'm looking for. I haven't had supper yet, but went ahead and filled in the diet log. At the end of today I will have the following leftover: 23.02g of fat; 6.74g of carbs.; 21.57g of fiber; 51.82g of protein, and 762.00 calories. Now does it count?
02 Feb 16 by member: Scalewatcher3
Sure. You could count that. :)

Thanks, Frankie. If it didn't have this site to log into and the friends I have here to keep encouraging me (we all get down and frustrated from time to time) I'm sure I'd be right back where I was four years ago. It gets a little easier over time to keep on the straight and narrow when it's simply a daily habit to get on here. Good luck with your loss. We're all ready to help and make suggestions, but it's really your determination that will make it happen. :)

That's funny, I had been weighing weekly for the past month or so until yesterday; it's back to daily. It definitely makes a difference for me and my focus.
