KThompson12's Journal, 29 January 2016

I went to Weighloss+ and got a prescription for Phendemetrazine, a stimulant that is supposed to suppress my appetite and increase my metabolism. I was afraid to start taking it today because I'd be all alone. I know this will trigger heart palpitations, and I'm desperate enough to accept that, but I don't want to be home all alone when it happens. I'll start tomorrow. I need something to stop this gorging of food, addiction to sugar and carbs, and alcohol intake (Margaritas).
Also at Weightloss+ I got a vitamin B injection. Apparently I've already lost about 5 pounds just because of that. I was 197 earlier this week. I weighed 201 at the weight loss center, which stopped my heart for a second. Today's weight of 192.6 doesn't make any sense, especially because every day this week has been my "last day" before diet and I've been unbelievably piggish.
I don't want to be 200 and I'm taking the easy way out with drugs. The end.
192.6 lb Lost so far: 30.8 lb.    Still to go: 7.6 lb.    Diet followed N/A.

I don't feel there is anything wrong with a little chemical engineering as long as you understand the risk and accept it. I think it can be safe and effective as long as you follow the precautions. By no means exceed the dosage prescribed thinking that more is better or that you'll lose faster. Stay safe!

please go to dietdoctor.com and read about low carb and ketogenic. You don't need diet pills.

You might consider looking into a more natural supplement, such as Gymnema Sylvestre. It's considered to help curb cravings. Many medical issues can be greatly helped in a more natural way than pharmaceutical drugs, WITHOUT all the side affects. In many (maybe most) cases, it seems a natural way will do a better job than drugs in general. Often it's a matter of finding out what your body needs, and then eating more of foods that will provide it.
