I am on a water pill the only "medication" i take. I had weighed myself officially on monday and came in at 322 and by friday i felt miserable just bogged down i got to thinkin he i havent had my water pill all week maybe thats why i feel so bad. so i got on the scale friday and was up to 325. I got my water pills back on board this weekend got back on the scale today and im down to 320. It is AMAZING to me how much water i am retaining and i can not understand why i drink MAYBE one soda a day that i actually water down SO much that a bottle of soda last literally ALL day. but still it is one soda, i use NO salt on ANYTHING for ANY reason so i get salt if its there naturally ie bacon, mustard et... and i drink 100 fluid ounces of water FAITHFULLY everyday sometimes more. so where can the water retetion be coming from but thank God i now know i cant be without the TINY (shesh) lil pills.
320.0 lb Lost so far: 28.0 lb.    Still to go: 150.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

I am glad you are actually down 2 not up 3 lb. Keep taking that water pill at least for now. You are drinking lots of water and that's good. Instead of the soda you might enjoy a little sugar free syrup, like rasberry for instance, to flavor your water. Toriani and Da Vinci brands have all kinds of nice flavors.

I agree with Gigi that it is good to be down 2 pounds and not up...;) I know also how frustrating it is to work hard at this and not show the success that you well deserve...unfortunately, our scales don't give us anything for "effort." So, I looked at your diet calendar and my first thought was "could she eat something else with less salt instead of bacon and sausage?" I know they make reduced sodium products and this might help you with water retention from those items. I also know from first hand experience that I can not drink sodas...too much salt. I can drink diet-rite products occasionally as the sodium is almost nihil. Sometimes I want a soda so badly and give in, only to watch my hands swell almost instantly. Do you like iced tea...a diuretic, or as Gigi suggested water with flavoring...??? I know "they" say the more water you push the more you will release...if I have any salt, I have to drink way more water than one would think necessary to flush it out....my body must love salt as it hangs onto it dearly.
