kingkeld's Journal, 02 October 2011

Whew, yesterday was a tough day.
We went to the garden to put in a few new plants in our yard, but it turned out to be REALLY hard work. I was beat when I got home! It's been a while since I've done heavier landscaping out there, more just mowing the lawn etc. I have to say I can tell a SIGNIFICANT difference losing the last few kgs, since last I did harder work out there. Things are so much easier.
Today, I lost another 300 grams, perfectly in line with my weight loss mission for Wednesday morning. I am today at 91.0 kgs, and I just need to lose one more in the next three days. I think I can pull it off, if I am lucky and I put my mind to it.
It's amazing how much more results one can get by simply putting one's mind to it. I have dropped 5 kgs(!) of retained water etc. since Monday morning. I'm not sure how that's even possible! I will have to admit, though, that I'm kinda looking forward to this challenge being over come Wednesday. It's fun to have a mission, but it's been somewhat a stress factor to reach this goal, and I'm still not there. I'm just happy that I get closer and closer to the goal every day.
Today is Sunday, and I won't be doing much. I am still contemplating if I should go to the gym to walk for an hour or two. Maybe I should. I feel lazy, but that really is no excuse, it is? :)
Life is good!

Your entire weightloss journey is so impressive, and what you have done the last few days mindblowing! However I must admit I am glad I do not hvae a deadline because any kind of stress factor messes me up eating and emotionally and it shows on the scale for me.

@Sunshine_girl: Well, what I am losing now is mostly retained water after a couple of weeks with nothing much happening. This makes it "easy" like when you lose weight in the very beginning of your weight loss journey. Normally, things don't go THIS fat. I hope I can keep pushing it just 3 more days. :) Then I'll be back to slightly more normal routines.

It's good to have a goal - gives you something to focus on, although I know how you feel about being happy when it's over :-). With all your gardening yesterday, I am sure you can treat yourself to a rest day... But I bet your conscious will get the better of you - a bit of "gentle and enjoyable" exercises would be best. Have a good day

Actually, I SUCK at exercising. I'm good at the whole calorie counting and losing weight, but I never get to exercise enough. Today will DEFINITELY be a rest day. I'm beat. :)
