Weight loss is not a direct correlation between what you ate and how you moved yesterday. It has a cumulative affect. I like seeing the drop every day but I'm reminding myself it doesn't always show when you want it to. Sometimes your body tests you to see if you're just kidding... :P

Hey Body. I'm not kidding. Let it go.

Tonight going with my mom and some of her friends to a Mystery Theater dinner celebration for the New Year. Lots of water today...tonight will be prime rib, hopefully some nice veggies or salad and I'll ignore the dessert and have coffee instead. I hate that we'll be eating so late but will try to have enough other good things today that the impact will be minimal. I'm reminding myself that the weight will likely be up some tomorrow simply because it won't have time to fully digest and move on.

So we keep doing the doing. Happy New Year Buddies! 2016 is going to be KICKASS!

"ignore dessert and have coffee instead", that's a truly ketogenic attitude. I'm always conflicted when I'm with people that just "have" to have dessert, or bread, or any number of other things I avoid, I can't decide if I'm perplexed or amused. There's no commandment that says thou MUST eat sugar, but wow, oh wow, how some people act like there is. Good job, keep up the hard work!

For these situations, I like to eat "my" food & water, so I'm full well ahead of time. It's not nearly as emotionally painful and almost kind of 'amusing' while leaving plenty behind on my plate..... Not to say that I'm 100% successful every time, but it does seem to help.... Enjoy Mystery Theater!!! Happy New Year!
