holding steady on the weight..back to the gym today after a week off. As I was sitting here talking to DH while he makes our breakfast we were making bday plans and I just told him I didn't need a cake.And he agreed, he didn't need cake either after all the crap we ate since thanksgiving. I know my mom is getting me one when we go out so I'm not worried about it and instead asked my husband to just give me the cash he would have spent and Imma use it to restock my supplements for the new year. Supplements are a investment each month and someone else paying for them is a great gift in my book and I know the kids got me something so Ill be opening gifts anyway. lol. I was cycled off most of my supplements for the month of December other then the vitamins so its a good time to get back on track..And its a turning point, not getting a cake... and it feels great. Like I'm officially grown up (Ill be 41 this year lol) and its a step closer to getting control back. :)
Dedicating my week to clean eating and working out but also expecting some birthday and new year's maddness but not gonna sweat it. Just gonna push thru.. Have great Monday everyone..

Old habits & traditions die hard, so yeah, it's hard. But I'd rather have a glass of champagne (no leftovers because the bubbles deflate fast) and toast to a new set of clothing for Spring than be confronted with cake.
