This is the first summer I tested my ability to stay on OWL and still have the freedom to enjoy some great dinners. I had a couple BBQ, and went to eat sushi one night. I have turned away from Chinese Food and burgers.

I limited my summer drinks to water with a little ice tea powder in it. No pop.

When I ate something sweet it was at the end of the day. I find that this limits the impact. I roasted marshmallows over the fire, had a piece of cake, had some pie - in moderation and not all on the same night. But, I didn't start to gain - as long as I ate them late in the evening.

Any time I do find myself losing control I return to fat secret and start calorie counting. It rarely takes more than a day or two to get back on track.


My current goal is to get under 145 before Thanks giving. This is the first time I've dieted since last spring.




147.8 lb Lost so far: 47.2 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
