Interesting. I worked out. I ate well (healthy), though I didn't enter all the food which I normally don't but I do know I was at about 1600 cals. So I should have lost even .2.

No gain is ok but hope next weigh yields at least the .2.

HAPPY HUMP DAY PEOPLE AND CONTINUE WITH THE JOURNEY!

Weigh ins that don't give us the results we're expecting can be disappointing, but don't let it get you down. As long as you're doing what you need to do and staying on track you're moving forward, be persistent and the scale will move in your favor.

Thanks Jim. I will follow your advice and get back on the horse. Exercise bike in my case!

Mine used to get stuck for a while then suddenly drop a few.

I just need to keep plugging along. I think I was down below 200 and feeling good but I planned better and rarely missed a planned workout. I have many friends and family and frankly they love to eat and drink. I do as well but what got me below 200 from I know was 270, though on FS I started at a lesser weight, is that change in lifestyle. Being happy not to be a lush or pig out but enjoy the decadent things in moderation and KEEP EXERCISING. It's a mind sent thing and I believe I am back on track. But I do love the wine and the relaxed feeling it gives me after a long tough day, once or twice a week. Maybe I should switch to scotch! Lol. Thanks for the support. Hopefully we all get unstuck. :) Scalewatcher3, I saw that picture and I had to post it. I am an aspiring writer so I like friends to send me things that make me think. What I thought of with that picture is this big person who's obviously been big like that most of her life. I saw the current result of losing part of the weight but. I saw the vision of the future slender person. But what I saw the most was the hard work of taking a chisel and beginning to knock weight off and the very hard work it takes to do so; like Michelangelo chiseling David from a big object. It's like this person knew she has to take her time and commit to this being a long project. Michelangelo did the same thing or risk ruining the sculpture. Hard methodical work, commitment and good signs of achievement. That's what I saw.

I think it is really interesting how are bodies work. You will figure yours out, keep on going.

The hard stuff packs more of a punch with fewer calories. My problem can be that after a drink or two I'm more likely to eat stuff I shouldn't, so if I really want to stay on track I need to limit myself to one of whatever it is I'm drinking.

Skwhite, I am getting close to figuring things out. I didn't have a weight problem until the accident a few years ago. Frankly, I ate everything and worked it off. I can't workout like that; movement limitations, Knee, shoulder now but can do enough. So I experiment and see if things like limiting carbs helps and to what extent is ok to limit and...what foods can't I possibly live without etc. But yes skwhite, on with the journey. Love red wine! Resveratrol, my excuse for drinking it! ;) But a single malt scotch is very nice. Thanks for the tips and support you guys and girls. Have a wonderful Thursday. I still hate this time change.
