Good Early Saturday Morning!! Hubby had to work today and was up early and for some darn reason I was WIDE AWAKE!!! So here I am ... up and about ... laundry underway ... on a Saturday. More time for goofing off later I suppose!!

I may never understand the ups and downs of my body. I ate a few more calories than I had planned yesterday and was down on the scale!! Sometimes I wonder if my body needs more fuel than I give it. I do think that paying attention to my hunger and honoring it is important. Oh, who knows!!! Regardless of the reason I am delighted to AGAIN be slightly below that blue line ... for as long as it lasts!!!

Time to ponder what I am grateful for today ...

1. the very slow sinking into my silly brain that I really can eat food, enjoy myself, and not be obese
2. knowing my car will stop when I apply the brakes
3. roasted chicken and baked sweet potatoes
4. I really wasn't at a buffet stuffing my face ... twas only a dream!!
5. home sweet home!!

Have a lovely weekend ... take care of yourselves ...

I have had those buffet nightmares too - sort of flashbacks like a soldier returning to the battlefield in which his enemy is food. The definitive word in your list of five today is ENJOY. With the many holiday social gatherings I have coming up - my strategy is to employ the TASTING game wherein I do NOT deprive myself but wherein I TASTE the delicious foods and still go for THIN. That's a difficult game to play. Enjoy your beautiful home!

Great job moose, I'm so envious of your being under that blue line. ;-) I did look up the pro-anorexia news and saw that it was Kate Moss's motto evidently. It's amazing how people twist things around, the next thing they will be saying is that being obese feels wonderful. I hope you have a great weekend buddy. :-)

Ohh! Lots of similarities today. The scale was down for me, too, even after too much snacking/cals and I wondered the same thing - am I eating enough? My dream, that I'm glad was a dream, was that my scale had been broken and I really had gained about 20 lbs. Congrats on getting under that blue line again! You're the greatest!

It is funny how our bodies put on and lose weight, isn't it? I've definitely upped my calories since I've hit my goal, but haven't gained more than 2 lbs for weeks. And this includes eating out at restaurants again, much more than I should. Baking up a storm too. Not to mention the lack of exercise after I hurt my knee, too. Definitely odd! Yet I do feel bloated much more than before. Hmmmm... Your #4 made me laugh out loud, by the way!!

I was just thinking how wonderful and reassuring it feels to know deep down that we are "here" for the long haul. When I realize that I will be eating healthy next year, and the year after that, and the year after that, and so on - I can BE NMORE LIKE YOU. I can relax and give myself some room to BREATHE! We are going to eat well and MOVE for a long long time! Thanks for being an awesome inspiration for me!
