Actually being able to poop helps with weight loss. I've been having an issue in that department for more than a few weeks now. I increased my fiber intake, nothing. I drank twice as much water, nothing. Finally I gave in a bought a vegetable laxative and I'm very happy I did. I felt so bloated with my stomach seemingly running on full all day long. Now I'm starting to feel normal again and the vegetable laxative worked twice as well as the regular ones and didn't give me nearly the cramps I've experienced in the past. I do highly recommend them if you are very irregular and you've tried other avenues to no avail and need quick help getting back on track. I am going to continue with the laxatives for the recommended week on the bottle and hope that reminds my body that it needs to poop at least once a day.
My next goal is to reduce my carb and fat intake. I didn't realize it was that high. More veggies in my diet has always been an issue for me since I was a child. Now that I am older I do like a lot more, I just don't seem to keep enough of it in the house. To the store!
