Can someone please tell my scale it is going in the WRONG direction! I weighed myself six times this morning and got different readings four of those times. This was the one I was most comfortable posting. I do not know what is happening, but I promised I would not stress about it.

Ugh, mine does that too. Is it a digital scale? Try placing it on a solid surface like concrete or cement. I found that the wood floor in our bathroom put it off. I don't know why either.

Sometimes my scale gives me weird readings if it isn't balanced??

I think my floor does have a balance issue, especially in the bathroom, but I thought I had found a "square" to get the most accurate readings (The kitchen in front of the fridge) how ironic. I have carpet everywhere except the kitchen and bathrooms. Maybe I should try it in the half bath and see if that makes me "happier". On the plus side, I did lose one inch in my waist :-)

Just let it go put your scale on a firm level surface next time and smile at your numbers

It it's an electronic scale you might also want to check the batteries. But good new is you lost an inch so you're on track. Sometimes we have to not worry over what the scale says, especially if we know we're doing the right things.

Keep it up! You'll usually retain water from whatever you ate the day before, especially salty foods. Maybe don't rely on your scale so much as you do feel the way your clothes fit! You'll feel better if you don't just get on the scale so much. I do that too and get so discouraged when I know I've eaten well and exercised (walking) the day or two before. Our weight fluctuates alot. Also if it's your time of the month that will add a lb or two.
