This is just the opposite of what I was expecting!!! I was truly expecting a 3 lb. LOSS!!!! This week I am going to be 100% instead of "reasonably well" and see what happens when I do 7 straight days of "ON PLAN" Plus exercise a little more...Thanks to ALL of my supportive buddies (and I don't have any un-supportive), just a bunch that are absent for UNKNOWN reasons...I always appreciate the ones that take the time to tell me (and ALL of us) they must be gone...even if they are not sure when they will be able to return) Let's all make it a week of climbing the mountain!!!!!) (The alternative is to just SIT IN BASE CAMP...and I am NOT going to do that) Keep Climbing, keep fighting, keep focused...and Keep on KEEPING on!!!!! We will do this ...TOGETHER!!!!
327.0 lb Lost so far: 47.0 lb.    Still to go: 87.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Its. Easy. to keep climbing as long as We do. this together...We are a Team! This climb. takes Team Work!!! A long with blood ,sweat and tears and prayer.....

Just a blip in the big picture, right! I have been doing really well and the "Idiot Box" is revolving around the same number, too. It can be a bunch of things - just keep doing what you are doing and be real!

This is such a sweet community of positive, encouraging and thoughtful people. I am so thankful to be here. I started doing this to help myself lose weight but what I have found is, I am loving myself today, in this body, at this weight. However, I feel excited to keep moving, drinking water and making healthy choices as I love who I am today. Thank you for writing about your journey. I am praying for you.

You've got to remember and take into consideration that it takes lead-up time to get your body into 'fat burning' mode, and that any stumble or trip-up in that time can reset the lead-up. If you're still stumped, maybe look back at some of your greater weight loss weeks and press play on those since they got you further up the mountain then the past few weeks? We're here for ya regardless!

Don't be discouraged by mere numbers from short-term results when in fact it's the long-term results that really count. It may just be water and food weight. One can consume up to 5 pounds of food in a day, so that number may be temporary. Try weighing yourself on an empty stomach first thing in the morning to get more accurate results.

I too have been there, let the numbers on the scale determine my mental stability. Numbers lie, stay on your diet and keep faith in yourself and over time the fat will melt off. It took a while to gain weight, it will take the same amount of time to lose it. I lost 30 years worth of obesity (71lbs and 25% bodyfat) in 6 months on diet alone, it's all in the diet discipline and has nothing to do with exercise, not implying that exercise can't be supplemental as well when it comes to personal fitness.

I've been lurking. Just really busy and on the road every day from 5:30 am to 5:30-6:30 pm so I've been really tired and crashing early.

LOL..you are VERY Supportive to ALL of us!!!...I was referring ti Folks who haven't been on FS in 4 or 5 weeks OR longer...and totally Haven't even done a weigh-in...and I'm NOT trying to be aggressive or "Mean"... but if they are "burned out" OR moving to a different site, Just have the common courtesy to make a short journal post so we are NOT left wondering..."what happened to THAT buddy?"...I own the Insecurity that mentioning this shows on MY PART...but do not understand how folks can VERY SUPPORTIVE and helpful for a week or two And then just totally vanish ...ok...I've said my piece..."rant over"...thanks for listening...and caring...Y'all are GREAT !!!!
