Scale moving again. Guess my carb level for losing is pretty low. I'd been maintaining my weight at about 35-40 carbs, but since I've dropped back to 20-25 carbs the scale is moving down again. I was really hoping that I could eat between 50-60 before gaining. Such is life.

I actually found that the less I weigh... the more intolerant my system became. In maintenance I have been able to range daily around 40, occasionally (once a week or so) up to 60, and then back to 40 ... and do just fine. But if I over indulge in something WAY out of that range... it's hard to get it to come back off. Over nine months I have little by little climbed from 140 to 145. I've had a few spikes higher, but getting it to come back down under the 145 now, ... requires a return to Induction levels for me... not sure for how long... but I want the weight off more than I care about the food selections... so I am dealing w/ something similiar right now. Once you actually get yourself to where you feel the most comfortable (whether that is your stated goal weight or whether it's a different number) you may be able to slowly increase back to a maintenance level a bit higher. Or alternate out your carbs, one day 40, one day 50, one day 40, one day 60, etc.. and I agree...such is life. Some folks can maintain at 60-80g's/day... lucky ducks! :) Just probably won't be you or I... Much Love.

Thanks. I have been coasting for a month without losing or gaining, and now I'm tired of the scale not showing progress, so I am dropping back down to induction type levels (but I'm not giving up my strawberries or 1/4 of an apple occassionally). I've had a good month where I haven't felt deprived, been able to eat low carb pasta and breads, so It won't be a terrible burden to lower my carbs for a few weeks. Once I drop another 10lbs I will try to up them again.
