Well maybe I can just begin a solid exercise routine and go from there....I don't want to fail on my diet again...but what I can do is get and stay active...

Don't get discouraged!! Allow yourself to enjoy your vacation, but just remember how important your weight loss is to you, and when you get back you can hit it with full force. Just because you gain a little bit, doesn't mean you have to quit. You haven't failed :)Just be aware of what you're eating, and maybe cut back on some of the carbs. Every little bit helps!!! :) Good luck and enjoy your vacation!!

Your going to have to make a choice. Gain or loose which is more important? If you are sick of yourself as I was when I started back on this diet 7 days ago, it's been hard but I know the alternative if I don't and I can't afford to gaing any more weight, I'm mentally miserable with myself. I've been telling myself to look at it like when I quit smoking 8 years ago, HARDEST THING I'VE EVER DONE, but once I got past the first 7 days the worst was over, now it's a daily choice not to pick just one up, even though I'd like to once in a while, but I know I don't have that good of will power, same way ith this diet, if you can't cheat here and there and get back at it don't take the first bite. I started at 200, went to 202, then got serious and in 7 days I've lost down to 195. You can do it......................

Amen to choth!! After being heavy until I was 21 years old, then getting the weight off and keeping it off for 7 years, I agree 120% that it is a constant battle with yourself. No matter what excuses I made for myself when I would gain a few lbs., it all came down to a choice: Lose it back, or keep gaining. I would picture myself looking in the mirror and remember when I was disgusted with my body all those years, and then I would remember after I lost it when I looked and thought, "wow, I can't believe that's really me..." Sometimes are so much harder than others, and the hardest time is getting your momentum going. But when you do, your motivation feeds off of your progress and it's such a great snowball effect. Don't lose focus and think, "What do I want worse? This pasta or a much smaller body?" Take it one day, one MOMENT at a time, and you'll make it. :-)
