Fledgist's Journal, 27 July 2011

Down half a pound. I did 40 minutes in the gym yesterday, and over an hour on Monday. So I'm feeling pretty positive. I still have a long way to go, but I am going to get there. I'm well past the half-way mark. What I have to keep remembering is that I am on the downslope. It is just a matter of time.
205.6 lb Lost so far: 131.4 lb.    Still to go: 37.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I'm trying my best. I have to get to maintenance. It's there, somewhere over the horizon. I want to be able to say, with Diogenes, 'courage! I see land!' But not quite yet.
