181.6 this morning ... steady as she goes
YESTERDAY
Approximate Calories Consumed - 2596
Calories Expended - 3044

So I did well again during the day and the snack attack monster took over during the evening. Therefore ... way more calories than I planned for. However, weight was steady ... I'll take it!!!

I'm exhausted. Understandable given the stress of the last few weeks. I'll catch up on rest I hope ... and will find a new rhythm to cope with the health challenges my family is facing. Today will be a better day food wise ... I will make it so!!!

Good for you. You are still doing great and steady as she goes. I totally understand your relief at having a plan too--it really helps wrap your mind around it if you know where you are headed.

I did fine until staff meeting today and someone broke out Ghiradelli Dark Chocolate!!! I had three squares ... then one of my home visits was a no show so the speech therapist who was with me invited me to her house for a drink and I had a Michelob Ultra ... just one but dang!!! One my way home here soon ... hopefully I'll make wise choices ... but still ... I'm doing okay ... being kind to me and realizing just how exhausted I am ... and I know this will pass!!

hey THOSE ARE wise choices!!! dark choc if any at all, and is mich ultra the light idk.. i thought so until i started typing. lol well distract yourself tonight from the snacks!!

Ah! Ice cold Michelob Ultra! Every time I have one of those it seems to be during some special moment - sitting in a lounge after traveling across the country to see my son - sharing dinner with old sports parent friends - bonding with my husband out on the patio. We could write a freakin' Michelob Ultra commercial - huh! Much love. Get in some relaxation time - okay? You deserve it!

I like the idea of "5 things I'm grateful for this morning". It's so easy to take those things for granted...especially when life gets hectic.

The *5 things I'm grateful for* idea came from Dawn ... I stole it from her!! LOL!!! It is good for me though, helps keep me in the moment and is self nurturing too!! The trick is remembering to do it!! LOL!!!

Yes Cindy the Michelob Ultra is the 95 calorie one with 2.6 grams of carb!! I think I did okay ... and the weight is staying steady so I must be doing okay!! One of these days I'm going to send you a message ... you remind me of someone else from my past life ... I suddenly realized that this morning!!
