Wow! 5 pounds! I *really* did not expect to see that much off- I weighed myself last night, but then figured I must have been dehydrated, and drank a ton of water to try and catch up. This morning though, same thing, 5 pound loss, and I think I'm about as hydrated as I can get. I'm telling myself that it may balloon back up a little anyway, just depending on the day. Self, don't get discouraged if it does. ;-)


Today begins the 6th day of exercise and reasonable eating. Roughly 21 miles walked in 5 days, and the grass has never been tidier! (The heavy push mower is a heck of a workout)

I haven't felt any worse than slightly hungry any of these days, and I've enjoyed the exercise, except for the hurting feet, and oh, they are unhappy. I think once I get the new shoes broken in, all will be well, though.

I am missing ice cream, and I know I'll slip over to the dark side again, (Coldstone is right across the street from me!) but a little momentum in the right direction sure helps in the motivation to deny oneself the occasional craving.
222.0 lb Lost so far: 5.0 lb.    Still to go: 47.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
