Another small drop, .2 lbs. Not much, but it's my lowest since I saw the doctor in early December and after a week of creeping up, up, up, I'm satisfied with it. The lack of exercise is frustrating, because I'm sure I could lose more weight if I could do something. Still toying with the stationary bike, but my limitations make me feel like I'm not really getting a workout.

We ate at Chilis yesterday. I like that they have their nutritional info so easy to locate online. I had a chicken tostada (330 calories), a bowl of soup (110 calories) and half my serving of black beans (55 calories). Skipped the rice. That was my big indulgence for our one restaurant meal of the week. My calories for the day were 1601.

A family member in another state sent me some raw whipped honey. I'm trying to cut back on using artificial sweeteners, and she is a "clean eater" and suggested I try it. Used a teaspoonful in a cup of green tea yesterday and it was really good. I'm going to start using it (in moderation) for things like teas, smoothies, and yogurts.

Today's meal plan is pretty set, and should end up at around 1500 calories. Had two small wheat pancakes with blueberries for breakfast. Lunch will be a baked pork chop with broccoli and brown rice (fruit for dessert). Dinner...I have veggies I need to use up, so grilled chicken tenders, roasted radishes (a new recipe I tried and liked...when roasted they taste similar to small potatoes), and salad.

I was pleasantly surprised by the roasted radishes. It's not exactly potatoes, but roasting them takes away the spice/bitterness. I just drizzle with olive oil and spices, then bake. I get them pretty often in my co-op and this is the best way I have found to prepare them.

I'll have to try them, thanks

I got a little more creative with them tonight...added diced onions. I think it made it even better. Helped me get to my "2 1/2 cup of veggies daily" goal.
