Finally updating my weight. Only a 3 pound gain isn't bad in over two months without really trying. It's a partial effort. I will do really good one day, then just not care the next. If I could only stick with it faithfully for a couple weeks, I think I could get back in the habit. It's just hard to remember. I make plans throughout the day of what I'll eat and what exercised I'll do that evening. Then, after I get home and fix supper, I can't find the energy to get up from the couch. Don't know. :( Anyway, gonna try again to get back into this. I know I'll feel better if I get this weight back down. Gotta keep myself moving!

It's definitely a mind over matter thing, and we all struggle with it. There are no gimmicks; when you ultimately decide that you want to change a habit no matter what it costs, then you do it. Until you come to that point, it's just the same ole yo-yo syndrome. You can focus on the positive aspects of weight loss, and read success stories, or books by motivational speakers to help get you out of a rut. Negativity feeds on itself and the "what's the use?" self talk can destroy our ambition. You can do this. Focus on one small "forever" change, where there's no gong back.

Try exercising in the morning even if it is only for 30 minutes. I have an easier time then because I am not worn out from the day and it actually gives me more energy

Good to hear from you. I am up a few more pounds. However, hope I can get back on track soon!
Good suggestion from "Iama"
