Bloated, constipated, miserable. Overdid greens and veggies this weekend. Tummy gurgling up a storm and I know I'm in for some relief soon. I think my true weight is close to 190 even though the scale is saying 192 this AM.

Well, whatever. That's why I average my weights weekly, for exactly this situation. I discovered today that Red Robin has a phone app that allows you to customize your food by removing the bread from the French Onion soup and lowering the carbs to 5g, and customizing every single menu item they have. Woo hoo!

McDonald's has the same thing. Say what you want about McD's, but at least they allow you to tweak their items so you can see what you're getting. And I will reward places like McD's and Red Robin for being so forward thinking by eating there more often now that I know exactly what I'm getting!
192.0 lb Lost so far: 88.0 lb.    Still to go: 43.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

Red Robbin is a new restaurant for me. I looked at their menu online and they provide menu recommendations based on your allergies. They also have vegetarian options. :)

Most restaurants or fast food places do have reasonable options for diets- making the right choices can make a huge difference

From a previous post I know you've been stressed. Cortisol can be a fickle friend. Let the BS go! You're doing fantastic, please don't let outside sources detail you. I heard you when you said nothing and no one is going to stop you, so try and release damaging stress factors. Have a great week, you're an inspiration.

There are some pretty funny comments on Amazon about the SF Gummies. Caution... do not eat too many or the sweetener in them causes very bad consequences. I've done the same with the SF hard candies. Wondered why I had to run and I mean run to the bathroom..

Doesn't seem fair that such healthy foods can cause so much misery. Feel better soon, and as soon as that bloat goes away, so will the extra water weight. It's so odd that the treatment for bloat is more water. Hmm...I'll have to ruminate on that.

Yeah, I'm not going to blame the 3 sugar free mint patties on my tummy troubles, nor will I blame the stresses. I've had these mints before, and they never cause this kind of trouble. I think it's the Metformin. After weeks on the medication, my blood sugar was still very high, so an increase in the dose combined with a lot of salad is what's causing this, I'm certain. It will pass, literally, soon enough. I see my doctor again this week for an update.

Hope you are feeling a bit better this am.

Feel better. I know when my hubby went on insulin he gained weight. The Metformin didn't do that to him. I blame your mint patties. Ha! (They do it to me every time!)

I had mint patties twice last week and they didn't do this to me. Why would they do it now, for no reason, the same day I up my meds? Makes no sense.
