Finally budged on the scale. You know what did it? A few days of stress when Chris and I separated after a big drunken argument. Robin and his brother, Joe, came and got me. I took enough stuff with me to stay in Bunker Hill and during the Thursday through Saturday that I was in Macoupin County, IL, I ate meat and fish only because there was no fruit in the house and I didn't feel like going grocery shopping. I got a lot of work done, which I'm grateful for. I also learned a lot about myself - I need to NOT let other people's infuriating assumptions affect me and pull me into their mistaken arguments. That's what Chris did. I love him to death. I'm glad I came back. I would never leave him permanently. He's everything I've always wanted. Lord God, I have to give You credit for blessing me with Chris, and for righting this terrible wrong that transpired on Wednesday night. I prayed for the Holy Spirit to guide me and open Chris' heart and he did. And it wasn't until Sunday when I got up out of bed, I went to Chris and I said, "Help me to understand what exactly it is you're mad about." I knew what had distressed me about the argument, but whatever it was that he perceived, he wasn't clear, and more than that, his indignation was unjustified. He had started the argument, and I stopped it by leaving. But I'm glad the three-day protein diet of chicken, kippered herring, and tuna got rid of much of the water that was packed on my body. Yay! I shall claim my 90-pound body again soon. Only 15 pounds to go! Seems like a lot, and it is, but it's not impossible.
106.0 lb Lost so far: 7.0 lb.    Still to go: 16.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
