It is so hard to stay focused and engaged when stress rolls in. But, I am back to try to regain some control over my weight.

Avoiding bread and watching my carb intake is such a PITA...but my joints feel 100% better when I do. I don't know if it is a gluten allergy or if it is just something piggy-backing on the same part of flour as gluten, but the swelling in my joints completely disappears within 4 days of cutting bread and "gluten" out of my diet.

I just don't understand how my body keeps all this weight, when I am careful to avoid sugar, vegetarian, avoiding all bread/pasta/pizza/cake/cheese.... I'm worried that I have broken something in my gut, and that fasting will be the only way I can make a new dent. =(
