Happy Sunday Everyone


I am going to say I hit my 250 mini-goal which I wanted to do by the end of the May. I am 250 even this morning after a huge day yesterday of yard work, mowing, deck washing....I am somewhat achey this morning, but a good ache! Took an advil before bed so surely I probably would have been immoble this morning if I had not. I consumed 1368 calories yesterday and burned 3691 for a net calorie reduction of -2323. I also did vigorous activity for 95 minutes!! I also slept for 10.25 hours with a 93% sleep efficiency. Another interesting stat is that when I first got my BMF and doing virtually no exercise I was burning 1.2 calories per minute while I was sleeping, I now average about 1.7 but last night after all that exercise yesterday I burned 2.2 calories per minute while sleeping. I will take it, yes you do continue to burn more calories at rest when you exercise more! (courtesy of my BMF readout this morning!) More stats coming on my 6/1 entry when I do my monthly wrap up.

Had burgers on the grill last night about 9pm after all yard work was done and we showered. Boy they were so good, maybe just because we were so exhausted!! DH did all the riding mower work and I did the push mowing, haven't pushed that thing in years but he doesn't have the strength to do it just yet. I liked it though and especially after seeing the positive results this morning!! Think I will make that a weekly event.

Somewhat over cast this morning, had to charge the bikes for 12 hours so didn't get to use them yesterday, yeah like we had the time anyway! Well they are charged and ready to go but probably not until tomorrow, the INDY 500 is on today. We went to it a few years ago, what a thrill!! Crossed that off my bucket list! I am not much into car racing, not a NASCAR fan, but I have always loved watching the INDY cars race. Must also watch French Open (tennis) today so I guess we will have multiple TV's on with split screens!!

Ribs on the menu for today, they are bathing in their rub as we type!

Well, must sign off and get another cup of this wonderful Italian roast java I made this morning, ultra strong!! (was thinking of you this morning, Bren!!- Salute)

How wonderful!!! Glad you set some mini goals. It is nice to have little land marks of achievement along the way. Enjoy that coffee!

Wow, you had a busy day yesterday. I got 6 hours and 23 minutes of sleep with a sleep efficiency of 92%. Had an active day, but not as active as yours...only burned about 2700 calories yesterday. Must have been the day for working outside. I did the neighbor's lawn, and worked on the pool. Still need to get the weed whacking done at my house, but that will wait until tomorrow. Have a wonderful Sunday, and congrats on the 250....you are doing fabulous!!! HUGS!

CONGRATULATIONS ON THE GREAT DAY OF OUTSIDE CHORES. I ON THE OTHER HAND SAT BY THE POOL FOR 2 HOURS AND WATCHED OTHERS SWIM (EXERCISE), THEN CELEBRATED A GRANDDAUGHTERS 3RD BIRTHDAY WITH MUCH GREAT FOOD AND CAKE, I DID SKIP THE ICE CREAM. I HAD A TICKET FOR THE INDY 500, BUT CHOSE TO DRIVE HOME TO ILLINOIS AND WATCH ON TV. I AM NO GOOD IN THE HEAT AND MY SON-IN-LAW WOULD HAVE HAD TO ESCORT ME TO THE MEDICAL TENT. HAS HAPPENED BEFORE AT BASEBALL STADIUMS, I HAVE LEARNED TO ADJUST. MY NIECE WENT TO HER FIRST INDY 500 AND HAD A BLAST, I AM SO EXCITED FOR HER. I LOVE MINI GOALS AND AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU TO REACH YOURS. SO, CONTINUE ON TO THE NEXT MINI GOAL, BUT TAKE A FEW TO REVEL IN THE GLOW ON MAKING THIS ONE. WE CHOSE TO WATCH THE NCAA WOMENS SOFTBALL TODAY ON TV AFTER THE 500, BUT THE GOLF JUST WENT TO SUDDEN DEATH AND WE ARE BETWEEN A 3 GAME SOFTBALL SERIES, SO I GUESS UNTIL WE HAVE A WINNER, IT IS GOLF.
