Broke my ankle while jogging. Hit a big pothole and went down hard. This means no jogging, swimming, walking, or any other activities that require the use of 2 legs. Really worried about weight gain. I was at a good point and then this set back. I'll have to figure something out. So far, I have hopping around on 1 leg or weight-lifting sitting down. Neither feels too exciting.

177.0 lb Lost so far: 43.0 lb.    Still to go: 12.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Ouch!!! I feel for you, I really do. Watch what you are eating, write it all down, be very mindful of the food in your place. And although upper body really does not burn off a lot of calories like running or walking do it is better than nothing, it will keep you busy. Keep journeying here and that will help, there will be support for you to help you stay on track. Good luck and some advice from me who fractured my heel 8 years ago, do not rush it, you will pay for that in the end. Why do we always think we can push it a bit more than the doctors advise. Hang in there. :-)

OH NO! I'm so sorry! That will be a challenge, but I know you will figure something out! Maybe this is a sign to build up your upper body to Superman proportions! Good luck, and stick around here at FS for support. Take care.
